Eddie Mobasheri knew exactly what he wanted when it came to designing the steel driveway gates for his Eastern Beach seafront family home. For appearance sake, he wanted an exact copy of his neighbour’s gate. But where that gate was a single, he wanted his to be in two sections.
“smartgates got it exactly right and it looks perfect,” says Eddie.
As well as matching the gates next door, Eddie wanted automated opening and an intercom and keypad at the entrance. His home is down a long driveway, so this meant taking the power supply and intercom cabling under paved and garden areas, and along an adjacent fence.
“This was quite a job and they had to dig a channel – but you wouldn’t even know it had been done, says Eddie.
“I am very grateful to Geoff, who has to be the most knowledgeable person in the building trade that I have met,” says Eddie.
